Course Description This program aims to produce engineers with specialist skills and practical experience in telecommunications and network engineering The program focuses on computer, internet, multimedia and telecommunication technology from a high-level specification of telecommunications systems through to the realization of communication circuits First-year core subjects introduce you to fundamental areas including broadband digital communication, engineering practice and communication networks. In the second year, you'll move into more advanced areas including personal mobile communications, antennas and propagation, and current experimental practices in electronics and telecommunications. A core subject is the design exercise, which involves using state-of-the-art software to design telecommunication, mobile and electronic systems
